AMP Compatibility

I use the Hero Carousel a lot on my website. I recently discovered that it does not work on my AMP pages. The area where the Hero Carousel should be is a blank white space. However, when I hover my mouse over the white area, my browser does detect the outbound links associated with each image in the Carousel. What appears to be happening is the Carousel is not showing the images or arrows.

For AMP on my website I’m using the official WordPress AMP plugin. It doesn’t provide a lot of options. However, it does have Plugin Suppression settings. It states that the Carousel Slider plugin is Active with No Validation Errors.

I would really appreciate it if someone could steer me in the right direction on how to make the slider actually show up on AMP pages.
