AMP Conflict

I’m seeing an issue between the AMPforWP plugin and NGG.

Somehow Google is finding a page like https://www.xyz.com/amp has a canonical of https://www.xyz.com/ngg_tag/bathrooms/

I’ve looked through the source code and the canonical in the code doesn’t show the canonical path referenced above, it shows the correct one, which is https://www.xyz.com/

Anyone have any idea what’s going on between NGG and AMP for WP?
