Hi,

I am getting AMP error on my web story. It shows that “Tag amp story is not allowed to have sibling tags” (body should have only 1 child)

Please help me with this. I have tried several times but it is showing same error.

Hi @she8, thanks for your topic. It looks like this may be caused by the Ezoic plugin. Try disabling that plugin and running the story through the AMP Test tool again. If that resolves the issue, you‘ll need to ask that plugin‘s developer to improve Web Stories compatibility.

@she8 It seems when viewing the page source on your story that the Ezoic plugin code is activated. If you’d like to share your Site Health information privately here then we can check the plugins you currently have set up.

Thank you. I can see that you are not using the Ezoic plugin, but are you by chance using their LEAP service or Ad service?

In similar reports of users using the LEAP service, excluding /web-stories/ from the directory in Ezoic resolved the issue.

If you are, please create a new rule to exclude the Web Stories page from being cached. Here is an example screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/Kcspwml

If /web-stories/(*) does not work please try /web-stories/* then retest your story URL at https://search.google.com/test/amp

Unfortunately, since the offending plugin is with Ezoic you will have to reach out to their support.

Hi there

The way your ads are set up currently is incompatible with Web Stories. You will need to reach out to Ezoic to either disable the ads integration for any /web-stories/ URLs on your site or implement the ads for stories in a compatible way (using amp-story-auto-ads).
