• Hi guys,

I had an email from google telling me about AMP errors on my site.

For the specific error Google says:

    “The tag ‘font’ is disallowed.”

I use the html tags <font size=”5″></font> and also <font color=”000000″></font> on the pages google says have errors. Google is asking me to “Replace all prohibited HTML tags with their valid AMP equivalents”

Are these font tags something the plugin should convert to an AMP equivalent tag?? …because if I change the tag to suit AMP it will then be bad for non-mobile devices.

    Best,
    Digital007

P.S. Please see update to my other topic about front page title: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/front-page-title-issue-in-amp/

    Thanks

    Hi @digital007,

Yes, our plugin will convert the font tag to AMP-equivalent.

But as you are facing this issue we will still test it on other environments and will get back to you once this issue has been fixed. Reference of ticket: here
