    Hi,

We are getting multiple webstories error in google search console from today. Here is the list.

    1) Disallowed attribute or attribute value present in HTML tag.
    2) The parent tag of tag ‘html’ must be ‘!doctype’.
    3) Tag ‘amp-story’ is not allowed to have any sibling tags (‘body’ should only have 1 child).
    4) A tag on this page requires an AMP component ‘script’ tag, which is missing.
    5) A mandatory AMP HTML tag is missing from this document.
    6) Tag found outside the document head which is only allowed as a direct child of the document head.
    7) Only amp-boilerplate and amp-custom ‘style’ tags are allowed, and only in the document head.
    8) Custom JavaScript is not allowed.

  • Hello @satheeshrajv! This error usually occurs when you are using a plugin that minifies your site’s JavaScript, adds custom JavaScript to pages, or strips the mandatory AMP HTML tag which is not allowed in Web Stories. To determine if your theme or one of your plugins is causing this issue, temporarily disable all of your plugins, switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty One, and enable plugins and your theme one by one until the error can be reproduced on the AMP Test Tool.

We’ve seen issues in the past with Ezoic and whatever caching & optimization plugin so you can start by disabling those.

@satheeshrajv We are going to mark your topic as resolved as we haven’t received a response. Please feel free to reopen or create a new support topic if you continue to experience any issues. Thank you!
