We encountered this AMP HTML issue on a web story page – https://www.screencast.com/t/LAc2DXQj6. Is there a way to edit the code generated by the plugin? If not, can you assist us to fix the issue?

I’m using the latest version of the plugin (1.24.0)

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @jbayog Hello there. Thanks for reaching out. It looks like your site’s theme or another plugin may actually be caused by a conflict between Web Stories and your theme or plugin and stripping the required <!DOCTYPE html> code from your stories, resulting in this error.

One way to troubleshoot which one could be stripping that code is by turning off your theme and plugins one at a time, reenabling the theme/plugin one by one, and retesting at https://search.google.com/test/amp until the error displays again.

We can also check for any obvious plugin conflicts if you wish to provide your Site Health information. You can share privately if you prefer.

Thanks @luckynasan . It was a conflict with our caching plugin
