AMP make wordpress admin much slower

    I have a local mamp site with amp installed, and I have a local mamp site without amp installed. The local site with amp installed is much slow to reload posts and pages in the edit screen.

    Is this because I’m on mamp / local with a slow internet connection?

    Or does is it normal for amp to slow down post and page edit screens?

    Not sure how the plugin would slow down the admin screens since it’s just a function which builds new endpoint and only loads the CSS if you view that endpoint. Maybe try it on a real live working web server to see how it works in real world ?

    Been using it since Nov 2014, and doesn’t impact my admin screens on 20 diff websites at all.
