- Any console errors that appear on the loading screen.
- Have you been able to setup Site Kit on any other site on the same hosting platform previously?
- Do you have any Firewall or restriction at host level active which you’re aware of?

I just had this issue. After deactivating a couple firewall/security plugins the set up completed. I’m not sure if there’s a way for the developers to either detect and warn users that they need to deactivate the firewall, or somehow get around it.
Glad to hear you were able to determine the cause. Great suggestion also in relation to awareness of conflicting plugins or firewall setups. We do have a pre setup checklist that goes though such checks and alerts users where possible however it’s not always possible to detect all possible factors.
