Thanks for reaching out. When you mention in the title that Analytics is not connecting does the status appear as connected when you navigate to your Site Kit settings (Site Kit > Settings > Connected Services)?
If so please share the following information:
- Do you see traffic for your Site Kit connected property when accessing Google Analytics directly, via analytics.google.com?
- When did you connect the Analytics module? It can take a day or 2 before traffic starts to appear if you recently connected the module.
- Is there any particular message when you access the Analytics tab, or are the numbers just low?
Note that I can see the Analytics snippet placed via Site Kit, so once we have the above information I can hopefully determine the cause and ensure Site Kit works as expected for you.
It appears as connected, I installed a few days ago.
1 I don’t see any traffic on google analytics or the site kit dashboard
2 a few days ago, not exactly sure now
3 no message, just no traffic or anything. I tried to send real time test traffic and nothing pops
Many thanks for the update. Checking your site using tagassistant.google.com I can see hits are being recorded, so the setup seems correct.
When you mention you don’t see any traffic on Google Analytics itself (and not specifically Site Kit) are you checking the Analytics real time report and trying to view live traffic or is your site reporting zero visits overall, through all reporting periods? If you’re checking the Analytics real time report then please visit your site while not logged in. I ask this as the default Site Kit configuration does not include logged in users for reporting.
