  • Hi @donaljcassidy,

I can see how disruptive this is, especially when Analytics fails to load and throws a JavaScript error like this. That section is key for understanding store performance, so it makes sense you would want this addressed quickly and thoroughly.

To help narrow down the cause, could you confirm whether this behavior started recently after updating WooCommerce, WordPress, or any other plugins, and whether Analytics was loading correctly before the update? Knowing if this is a recent change or something that has been ongoing will help point us in the right direction.

When you have a moment, please also share your WooCommerce System Status Report. You can find it under WooCommerce, Status, then copy the report and paste it into https://pastebin.com or https://quickforget.com, and share the link here. That report will give us visibility into versions, environment details, and anything that might be contributing to the error.

Once we have that information, we can continue digging into this with you.

    Hi @donaljcassidy,

Thanks for sharing the Pastebin link, I appreciate you taking the time to do that and helping move this forward. Looking through it, this does not appear to be the full WooCommerce System Status Report, so we are missing some key details that will help us properly diagnose why Analytics is failing to load.

To generate the correct report, please go to WooCommerce, Status in your WordPress admin, then click Get system report, select Copy for support, and paste the full contents into https://pastebin.com or https://quickforget.com. Once done, share the new Pastebin link here in the thread.

Alongside that, it would be helpful if you could also reply to the earlier questions in this thread, specifically whether this started happening after a recent update to WooCommerce, WordPress, or another plugin, and whether Analytics was working correctly before then. Having both the complete system status report and your answers together will allow us to narrow this down more accurately.

Once you share those details, we will continue digging into this with you.

    Hi @donaljcassidy,

Thanks for sharing the full system status report.

The JavaScript error you’re seeing (TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'replace')) is occurring inside WooCommerce Admin’s Analytics UI. This indicates the page is loading, but a required value is coming through as undefined before WooCommerce processes it.

Based on the stack trace and similar cases, the most common causes are:

    • A mismatch between WooCommerce and WordPress versions (Analytics is tightly coupled to both)
    • A plugin, mu-plugin, or custom code modifying admin URLs, site URLs, or REST responses
    • Corrupted or incomplete WooCommerce Admin assets after an update
    • Cached or stale data being served (object cache, server cache, or CDN)

Before updating WooCommerce, please ensure you have a full site backup. We’ve seen cases where incomplete or mismatched updates can lead to WooCommerce Admin issues, including Analytics failing to load. Updating WooCommerce helps ensure Analytics assets are aligned and includes fixes for known JavaScript errors, but it may also surface conflicts with other plugins or custom code, so testing on a staging site (if available) is recommended.

To continue troubleshooting, please try the following:

    1. Temporarily disable all non-WooCommerce plugins and check if Analytics loads
    2. Clear all caches (plugin, server, and CDN if applicable)
    3. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and run:
      • Clear transients
      • Clear WooCommerce analytics cache
    4. Ensure both WordPress and WooCommerce are fully up to date and compatible

If Analytics loads correctly with only WooCommerce active, this would confirm a plugin or custom code conflict, and we can narrow it down further from there.

Let us know the outcome and we’ll continue from there.

    As below

To continue troubleshooting, please try the following:

     – Temporarily disable all non-WooCommerce plugins and check if Analytics loads

Disabled all plugins and still did not load

     – Clear all caches (plugin, server, and CDN if applicable)

Did this and ran all other tools except tax and still did not load

     – Go to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and run:

     – Clear transients

Did this and ran all other tools except tax and still did not load

     – Clear WooCommerce analytics cache

Did this and ran all other tools except tax and still did not load

     – Ensure both WordPress and WooCommerce are fully up to date and compatible

    WordPress version is 6.9.1

    WooCommerce version:10.0.3

I still cannot run analytics. What can I do next?

    Hi there!

Thank you for the update and for following all the troubleshooting steps.

I noticed that the WooCommerce version you mentioned is not the latest. Could you please update WooCommerce to the latest version (10.5.0) and check if the issue still occurs?

I’ve also reviewed your system status report and noticed that you have a large number of plugins installed. To avoid any potential impact on your live site, I recommend updating WooCommerce on a staging site first.

You can create a staging site using this plugin:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-staging/

Once the staging site is ready, update WooCommerce there and test if the issue persists. This will ensure your live site remains unaffected.

Let us know the results, and we’ll continue assisting you from there.

Since we haven’t received any updates from you, I’ll mark this as resolved for now. If you need further assistance, you’re welcome to start a new thread.

If you have a few minutes, we’d love if you could leave us a review: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/
