analytics360 google authentication error 401: Unauthorized

    I’m getting the following error and can’t connect to google analytics, even though the google analytics account is fine. Have tried replacing the tracking code and relisting to google no avail.

    Hmm. Something went wrong with your Google authentication!
    The error message was: 401: Unauthorized.
    If you’re having trouble getting up and running, you might try one of the following resources:
    The Analytics360° Google Group – there is no group
    WordPress Support Forums – couldn’t find an answer

    Appreciate some help.

    Hi mjulie – everyone currently using Analytics360 is having this same issue. The developers need to update the plugin to use Google OAuth 2.0. I contacted the developers (Crowd Favorite) and got this response on May 20th:

    The update to use OAuth 2.0 does not currently have a solid release date.​ It is on our development schedule.
