• We have a guest post and they have put their links – but when we view the source code, the ‘https’ part of the link is removed and replaced with ‘//’ instead. The link still works, but is there any way we can disable this and show the whole link with https?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It’s not just links in guest posts that are converted to protocol-relative URLs: it’s ALL links on your website.

And this seems to be related to your WP Rocket plugin. As this is a commercial plugin, I’m unable to install this and confirm or tell you how to disable it, but I see such a feature mentioned here in WP Rocket’s documentation (under “Relative Protocol” section)

The Relative protocol setting rewrites the URLs of static files (CSS, JS, images) to use a relative protocol ( // instead of http:// or https://).

I deactivated WP rocket and uninstalled – it’s still the same. I was sure it wasn’t WP Rocket from your reply.
