    WordPress 6.7.1 with Theme “Generate Press”

    Windows 11 Pro with Firefox or Chrome

    I want to set an anchor e.g. at “Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars” so I can jump to it from different other pages.

    I have tried to follow instructions posted in different places on how to set an anchor. New block and entering text – Going to Advanced -> HTML Anchor -> entering Webinar-Inhalte. There is no reaction whether this worked, but when going to Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars the entry is there. Then at any other page linking to #Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars should set the jump to Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars but it does not.

    I have this WordPress installation tried at different providers. None worked. So maybe there is a basic misunderstanding of the instructions I found on the net.

  • Your site is not open to the public, so I’m unable to check the page and let you know exactly what is wrong.

    But from your post:

    Advanced -> HTML Anchor -> entering Webinar-Inhalte.

    Then at any other page linking to #Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars should set the jump to Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars but it does not.

    If you entered Webinar-Inhalte into the HTML Anchor box, then the link should be #Webinar-Inhalte (ie what you entered into the HTML Anchor box with # in front).

    (Or the absolute URL http://viktorweisshaeupl.at/maerchenstunde-eines-homoeopathielobbyisten-ueber-homoeopathieskeptiker-als-geheimfortbildung-fuer-ausgewaehlte-aerzte/#Webinar-Inhalte if this is a site-wide menu link that should work from all pages.)

    Thanks!

    The #Ausgewählte Inhalte des Webinars was a typo here in the forum. I had written #Webinar-Inhalte in the other pages as a link. But adding the complete path made it work. I thought that as long as one uses a single anchor name the website recognizes it from everywhere.
