    Hi,

    please go to Admin Dashboard >>Appearance >>Theme Options >>Slide Show Options and add link to Home Slide Image Button Link options.

    Add Button Text.

    Save the changes.

    It worked!

    So I would like to stop the slider from changing since I cannot change the speed at which it changes, and I read that there was a way to stop the slider and make it manual. However, I have been having trouble with following the “instructions”. I don’t know how to make a child theme and then place the proper code. Is there an easier way? Or can someone help me with making a child theme? I tried and no luck.

    Hi,

    Please make child theme and create home-slideshow.php in child theme directory.

    Now copy code from LINK and paste to home-slideshow.php that you create in child theme.

    Save the changes.

    You can make child theme using plugin, like One Click Child Theme.
