I have a problem with setting the logic in the category filter set. If I understand this correctly I have to set the logic to ‘AND’ if I want to show the products in a child category. When using ‘OR’ all the products in the hierarchy is displayed.
But when using the ‘AND’ logic it returns with an empty result.
What do I have to do to show the products in a specific child category?

If you set “AND” for the Category, then the Category you are selecting must be in the Parent Category + the Selected Category, if you select multiple Categories, then it must be in parent + All of the other Categories you’ve selected.
This is how I thought it works and I think I am doing just like that.
I have all my products set up with categories like this: Parent cat 1 Child cat 1 Child child cat 1
If I check all the boxes in the filter function I get an empty result. If I only check the parent category box I get an empty result. I really don’t get it. I must do something wrong in the settings.
If you set “AND” in the category, then you must select all categories your products are published in, so all parent + child + sub-child must be checked, else the products won’t appear, also make sure all products that have 2 level of sub-categories to have all above categories checked, else they won’t get filtered.
OK, that is what I do, but the result is still empty. And if I choose ‘or’ logic the sorting does not work at all. When using that I have to uncheck the categories above. That is not a logic way to work.
So – I really don’t understand how you filter works.
For me to understand exactly what you want to achieve please, let me know which items to select from your filter and what is your expected outcome (which products must be showing), meanwhile make sure the AND” logic is selected when I am checking, so I can see what you’re referring to.
Could you send me a product which matches all of the above-specified filtering (Bus & Lek + Kulor + Övrigt) and also try under the FIlter > Category to set to “OR”, on the Category if you have “AND”, then all of the above has be match at once, else it won’t show any result.
