• Hi there.
Thank you for this great plugin.
I’m trying to make an test that is displaying a cupcake. It is working in ios.
Now i converted the object both to glb and gltf files to give it a try. And i also tried an zipped obj including textures. The viewer on android gives the message that ‘I can;t load object. something is wrong with the object’. (in Dutch)
    I tried several objects.

Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

(one more question i mailed about today, was if it is possible to adjust the AR to an image ‘tag’ Maybe it is nice to respond here 😉 )

    Thank you!!

    Hi Bob,

Please check out my support page http://augmentedrealityplugins.com/support/ which has a list of suggested online model conversion services you could use to create the GLB/GLTF files.

You can also try testing if your glb/gltf models are ok using this online viewer https://gltf-viewer.donmccurdy.com/

    I’m sorry.
But I tried a few extra downloaded objects. I converted them by hand using Blender and i tried to convert them online.
In the webviewer you supported in your reply they work fine, In MindAR they work fine, but i still get a bug in my viewer on android. (tried 4 different objects, even with different source object types. And coonverted them to GLB and GLFT)

Thank you for your suggestions so far.
    Do you have additional ideas?
And could you please test the url to see if you get the same feedback in the Android Chrome browser

I tried to install the plugin within WordPress on a different Domain and server (with SSL) Still i found the same error within Android.

I also get the same issue on Android.

The model files are being passed to the native AR scene viewer, so how it handles them is beyond the control of the plugin.

I am afraid I am not a 3D developer so have limited advice I can offer in regards to the model creations.

Please take a look at some of these tutorials which may be able to help.

Thank you for your superb support and beautiful plugin. The rendering quality and stabilization is great. The error i found was within my WordPress setup.

Glad you found the error. For anyone else reading this, please ensure yor model files are served using https not http.
