Animation effects not working

    2. Should be able to cause other effects to happen via the “Animation types” settings in Popup Maker. “Grow” and “Grow & Slide” do not work.
    3. The only effects that work are “Fade & Slide” and “Fade”.
    4. Click the middle panel for Retainers

    I would also like to know if there are other Animations and transitions available similar to what Opt-In Monster does that can be added in (extensions maybe?) for my clients? But for now I’d just like to understand the effects on my own simple PopUp Maker installation.

    @priscilla – You are correct. This is currently due to us removing the use of GSAP animations as they are not GPL compatible and can’t be included in the plugin here at ww.wp.xz.cn.

    We left the options as to not break existing installs that had them set already but they now default to fade I believe.

    We will be bringing them back but are still looking for a suitable replacement that is GPL. GSAP is hard to beat though as it offers some of the best animation capabilities in the industry.

    @priscilla – PS Yes we had an entire pack built around GSAP that we are now having to rethink also. I have considered leaving GSAP bundled with it but as I am involved with WordCamp, I am expected to abide by GPL at all costs.

    I understand completely, Daniel. I recently served as an organizer and am looking forward to being a volunteer at a local WordCamp coming up next weekend.

    So there are no additional animations in your addons? or do they also have to comply with GPL?

    @priscilla – I have the code for other animations including grow, bounce & feather, but I can’t release them into the public domain any longer without including GSAP. What sucks is I paid for a commercial GSAP license so that I could distribute it freely.

    Your not gonna be in Tampa FL, by chance? If so I will be there as well, I have friends/co-organizers speaking.
