did you upload the hole zip content or only the “announceme” folder without the readmy.txt, screenshot-1.png, screenshot-2.png?
because actually these 3 files does not belong there, but i can not fix it at the moment, because i’m not at home :/
if this is not the solution, please write back and i’ll try to fix it later

It’s OK. I found out, what’s the problem.
There ist a subfolder named “announceME”. I have renamed the folder plugins/announceme and copied the subfolder to the plugins folder.
Now it works.
Whenn installing, the full folder “announceme” with a subfolder also called announceme ist uploaded. This is the problem.
But there is another problem: When I activate the plugin, the menu of the Dashboard is still there, but the entries (e. g. Tools, Preferences) cannot be expanded.
Ok, thanks again, i fixed the download bug now with version 0.3.1
My entries are expanding normally at the moment, but I guess what could be wrong, but i have to less time do fix this today, but i will try to fix it tomorrow.
