Can you share a link to the page where the timeline is being displayed? It may be a simple CSS tweak.

In addition to the options there, as mentioned above, you can tweak the margin of the announcement container element.

If I could get them all on one side, as it is on mobile, they would be very happy. IS there a way to do this?
Also, I did check that, but only briefly because my timeline did not “have an announcement (or multiple announcements) with little, or no, content.” I can revisit it.

At this time there is no way built into the plugin to allow for the announcements to appear all on one side.
You should be able to use the CSS we’ve included, and alter the break points so the mobile view is what appears on all devices.
If you purchase a license I would be more than willing to help out with the necessary tweaks. I can also add it to our add-on lost for future development, as I can see how other users may want something similar.

If you install the pro version – the items should no longer overlap as they should now be laid out using a different method.
You can try installing the pro version first, and re-checking the timeline to see if the new layout suits your needs.
If not, or you would still prefer to go with the mobile layout on all devices, you can shoot us an email either via the contact form on our site, or using the License page from within the plugin – and I’ll throw together a snippet for you that will lay things out appropriately.
