Great plugin, but the most recent update has added a nag to the admin saying “Thank you for installing our awesome plugin, in order to enable it you need to go to the settings page and select which custom post or taxonomy you want to order.”

This would be fine if it ever went away, but it is now a permanent addition to my WordPress site. I am a developer, so I was able to go into the plugin and disable the nag manually, but the nag is so frustrating, if I could not do remove it manually, I would likely stop using the plugin.

Please fix in next update. Thank you for an otherwise excellent plugin.

  • Hello @pskigen,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about this!
We have just released an update addressing this (a couple of days ago) and this should no longer be an issue – you should be able to close it.
Do you have the latest update and still you cannot close it?

    All the best,
    Mihaela

    Hi @mplusb,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Correct, I just updated to the most recent version of the plugin (2.3.9), and even after going to the settings page and clicking “Update” the nag is still showing (that includes if I change some of my settings, then click “Update” again).

    Best,
    Patric

    Hello Patric,

    Thank you for responding!
Just to make sure I get this right, so I can forward it to our development team, allow me to clarify one more time: when you click on X of the nag panel it still does not close it? Is that correct?

    Thank you for your patience,
    Mihaela
