    Hello,

I see when you add google analytics tracking code, there is a anonymize_ip variable set to true by default.
Is it possible to make this variable false, or change it on demand?

    Thank you

    Hi @rmatejacabello

At the moment it is not possible. I’ll probably build in a filter that you can use to override those settings, but I don’t think I’ll add it to the user interface. I want to keep it light and simple.

I’ll remove anonymize_ip for GA4 anyway, since GA4 internally uses anonymized IPs anyway. That setting can’t be overridden and turned off.

You can follow that feature request in our public roadmap. If you leave your email you’ll be informed once it is released: https://app.productstash.io/woopt-woocommerce-pixel-manager?card=60479187862d25002996f40a

But I wonder why you would want not to use anonymize_ip anyway. What is your use case?

I released a new version with which you can adjust the Google Analytics config. Have a look at the documentation.

    Hi @rmatejacabello

In case you already installed version 1.8.19 and started using the filter, there is a new release. I had to fix the Google Analytics filter and updated the documentation. I had to swap the position of the variables.
