Stirlingdp, no questions are dumb and don’t feel you’re limited because of this presupposition.
Which theme are you using? Which thread have you found the solution to your issue?
I have not found a solution, theme I don’t know. HOw would I find that out?

@stirlingdp: If you explain what it is that you’re trying to so, we might be able to offer more specific help.
I’m trying to change the font color of three words on ne fo my pages
Are you using the Visual Editor? If so, highlight the words whose color you want to change, click the A icon on the editor toolbar and select your preferred color.
sorry…exalty where is te A icon. I cannot see it. Also how do I edit the source code. Thanks for your continued help.
If you don’t see the A icon, click the icon on the extreme right of the editor toolbar (called “the kitchen sink”). This will reveal the second toolbar with the A icon.
Also how do I edit the source code.
Generally speaking, it may not be a good idea to edit your theme’s source code. There are better ways of customising your theme. Where did you download this them from?
Well, I must have a dud version of WordPress ’cause all I have there is “screen options” and “help”. I have enabled the view in screen otpion to see everything. Option a or kitchen sink is not there.
Thanks all for the help
all I have there is “screen options” and “help
No. Look at the last icon in the Visual Editor toolbar for the Kitchen sink icon.
I wish I could send you a screen shot. I have been through all screens…the only things there are what I mentioned above honestly. Does the fact that I have this through my web site host company make a difference?
No. Can you access the Visual Editor in the Edit Post page?/
