Any Dummy Content

    I’m looking for any dummy content that will set the homepage to look how it looks in your demo. I hate these free themes that show you something then look horrible when installed because they dont provide content. This is for a friend and i dont have time to learn your theme and build from scratch. I hope someone can help and that people start noticing that a theme with no dummy content just looks bad on their part because users dont know why it looks plain. I always steer people away from free themes because of that.

    Hi there – I definitely understand the frustration of a theme not looking like its demo when you first set it up. It’s a big challenge we’re working on solving, beyond what importing demo content can offer.

    The key steps to setting up Sela are:

    – set a static homepage in Settings > Reading, and assign it to the Front Page template
    – activate Jetpack’s Custom Content Types module if you’d like to add testimonials
    – add widgets to any of the theme’s widget areas you’d like
