Is there a way to validate any tag without writing code for each? My guess it can be done with the filter “wpcf7_validate”, but I can’t figure out how.

My end goal is to have it check any tag for the for an option. The option would be used to identify groups of inputs. I want at least one of named\numbered group to be required.
Eg [email your-email required-group:1][tel your-phone required-group:1] Then have a rule that parses the option of each, results in one of phone OR email is required.

I know how to write validation for specific tags, I want one that applies to all tags that take options.

Maybe I am not seeing your point?

private  function example($result, $tags ) {
		foreach ( $tags as $tag ) {
			$tag = new WPCF7_Shortcode( $tag );
