    Hi Support

    What exactly is this function under setttings>general>membership = Anyone can register

    When I leave this setting unchecked, users can still register under my woocommerce store. If I leave it checked, I am getting spammed by fake users causing high server load.

    This option is not a WooCommerce feature, it is a WordPress option unrelated to the WooCommerce customer account.

    To change the settings regarding the WooCommerce customer account, you can go to WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy.
