• Ever since installing 3.5 on Dec 11, I’ve been seeing the following in the Apache error log:

[Thu Dec 20 10:40:32 2012] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 255 — Restarting.
    [Thu Dec 20 10:40:32 2012] [notice] Apache/2.2.22 (Win32) PHP/5.3.10 configured — resuming normal operations
    [Thu Dec 20 10:40:32 2012] [notice] Server built: Jan 28 2012 11:16:39

I’ve never seen such messages before except when I’ve restarted Apache manually.

Occasionally the error log reports the following:

    zend_mm_heap corrupted
    zend_mm_heap corrupted
[Tue Dec 18 08:29:54 2012] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 1 — Restarting.
    [Tue Dec 18 08:29:54 2012] [notice] Apache/2.2.22 (Win32) PHP/5.3.10 configured — resuming normal operations

    Suggestions?

Do you get this with a clean install of WP3.5?

It may be a problem with a theme or plugin

No, it was an upgrade. So, disable plug-ins one and then the the theme until it stops, eh? Thanks. Should have started there.

One other thing. Along with the upgrade to 3.5 there was 10-fold increase in Askimet hits. Has anyone else noticed this?
