API Calls to Redirection for Importing?

    Hi all,

    I often import a lot of posts using the WordPress CSV Importer. Each post gets its own 307 temporary redirected URL (a “buy this product” link).

    I’m wondering if there’s a way I can hack these plugins together so that whenever I import a CSV file, I have a field that will also create me a 307 redirect by adding stuff into the Redirection plugin. Are there any API calls that will make this easy, or a way to import redirections right into the Redirection plugin?

    I have a similar need. I’ve created a landing page plugin that manages landing pages separately from regular pages. I’d like to be able to assign a vanity directory to a landing page that automatically creates a redirect to the actual page (i.e. domain.com/promotion redirects to domain.com/lp/promotion). An API for basic URL CRUD would be outstanding.
