API connection error with free version

Hi there, I am using the free version of the theme but I’m getting this error:

Something went wrong while connecting (http://demo.phlox.pro/api/v2/info/): cURL error 7:

This started appearing on my dashboard after migrating my site from a private server to a live domain and it’s causing the media library to disappear. The site health notice says it could be the PHP version but it’s at 7.3 so it’s not that, or it could be that the license is activated somewhere else but I’m using the free version and have not installed SSL yet so it’s not a mixed content issue either.

I deactivated the theme on the private install to see if that would solve it but the problem remains and I can’t upload or see images on the media library. The issue disappears when I change to the default theme.

What can I do about this? Thanks in advance.
