    Hi,
when I insert API created by the book I get a message “API key is invalid or API is unavailable.”

I tried all possible variations of the API key and no change. Any idea what is causing this problem?

    Thank you!

    I’m seeing the same thing.

I’ll do some digging and see if I can find the issue.

Thank you for the fast response.

    Hi!

In the Developer Console, open Library an enable “YouTube Data API v3”:
    https://take.ms/8Hu7D

Go to Credentials > Create Credentials > Help Me To Choose.

Under the option “Which API are you using?” choose YouTube Data API v3. And under “Where will you be calling the API from?” choose WebServer.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,
Thanks for the instructions. I did that before, still the same problem.

    Is it working for you?

    Kind regards,
    Ivan

    Hey!

Yes, this method has worked for me

I generated API once again without restrictions and “voila”, it works. Do you have any idea why it doesn’t work when I create domain restrictions for the API? I use restriction like this *.example.com/*

    Thank you.

    Ivan
