    Hello.

I created a plugin to register users via WP API using Application passwords.

The plugin creates a dedicated user and the user has the role of “subscriber” with the capability to “create_users”. It works well on all other sites I use it on and I discovered it is only when Masteriyo is active that users never get created. Once I deactivate Masteriyo, users go on to being able to sign up.

Also, when I set this same dedicated user to the role of administrator, it works – but I don’t want to leave the user with that role for obvious security reasons.

What can be done to ensure this subscriber user can continue to work as expected without having to deactivate Materiyo?

I’ve been able to find the issue… it’s with the Limit Login Session setting in Masteriyo. I had to set it to 0, and the user creation works now.

    Hi @akawey,

Thank you for the information. I’m glad to hear that your issue with API registration was resolved after setting the Limit Login Session to 0.

We will also investigate this on our side, and if we find a similar issue, we will include the fix in our upcoming update.

    Best regards,
