Lo,
someone told me I could get an API-key for my Akismet for free.
But when I go to Akismets website all the keys cost a monthly fee.

Where do I get the free one?

Click on the “Personal site” link on the Akismet web site, and it looks like you can just set the donation slider to “0” and then sign up for your key.

Or maybe you could get one from wordpress.com. See “Getting Your Key”

I am not sure if this is the correct API – Key but I know ity.im plug in to monetize your website has a free API – Key

I am new so, I am not sure if that helps
