When you say ‘not connect’ do you mean teh big banner stays red 0r it goes green but when you ‘save’ you get an error message.
If it is the first, then it is most likely you are using the wrong key – EB has about 4 – you want Private Token – https://fullworksplugins.com/docs/display-eventbrite-events-in-wordpress/installation-display-eventbrite-events-in-wordpress/connect-to-eventbrite/ not API Key
There are other possiblities but first double check that.
Hi Alan,
Sorry, so I used the Private Token when setting up, it is showing as green in the settings. but then when I went to the shortcode builder, and copied the code into a page it shows the following error message when previewing.
[Display Eventbrite Plugin] Admin Notice! ( this shows to admins only ):
No Eventbrite API key set, please set in settings
rather sounds like you didn’t save.
return settings and save
Hi Alan,
Yeah didn’t save it! It has worked now thanks. Just one thing is that the text is really small, which it doesn’t look like on the preview on the code builder page but is on the published page (https://halstongroup.co/events/) , is there any way to change this?
in general styling is taken from your theme default. You can tweak the CSS.
