API key not validating

Hi,

The API key is not saving on the settings page. This error occurs only on IIS8.5 we have tested this on a similar setup(themes/plugins) on Linux and it worked.

I added the key in wp_options and then the plugin reported that the key did not validate. Please help.

Getting started, could you provide the WooCommerce System Status Report for the site exhibiting this behavior? This will help us to verify that the site meets the minimum requirements to run the plugin.

Hey @northfog

Thanks for following up here. I can see that the site meets the minimum requirements to run WooCommerce and MailChimp for WooCommerce properly.

We have seen some instances of the API Key page timing out or even erroring out for some users during the setup process of the plugin.

Just to get some deeper insight when passing this along to our team, would you be able to check your site’s error logging to see if anything comes through when you encounter this error in MailChimp for WooCommerce? If your site does not have error logging, you can download a plugin that enables it such as this one, though there are many different ones on the plugin directory worth browsing.

Error logging is on but no errors are logged from this plugin.

Thanks for checking there anyways. I’ve gone ahead and passed this feedback along to our developers as we continue monitoring cases of the plugin failing after entering the API key. I can’t provide a firm ETA on when to expect a resolution, though our team is working to get things resolved as soon as possible.
