• My website is not displaying correctly on the iPad. I found an answer to enable the ipad theme at Appearance, iPad, but I don’t see this option. Do I need to update to the latest and greatest WordPress 3.3.1 to see this option? Also, will this solve my issue of the strange appearance of my site on ipad? Thank you.

  • Hi Lisa King,

You should always provide a link to your website to enable the community here to help as best as it can.

And generally, it’s always advised to upgrade to the latest version of WordPress as and when a new version emerges.

    Hello,
The site is http://www.kinginnovation.com, but I didn’t think this would help anyone to answer the question.

Last time I updated I had some MAJOR issues, so I am scared!

Also, I know I can tell the user to view the site using another mode, but I want to solve the problem of the site rendering in this ‘default mode’ on my end. Thank you.

Now I’m going to bow out. I don’t have an iPad 🙁

BTW, upgrading should be painless so long as your edits / customisations are in the right places – such as customised style sheets rather than in main style sheets.

I had similar problems, and needed to understand how I’d changed a theme (in the wrong way) before updgrading. I found this tool invaluable:

    Best of luck.
