My client installed this on their website having a spate of card testing attacks and it appeared to be an instant solution.

it wasn’t however until a week or so later that we were advised Apple & Google pay options are now no longer working. Just throws ‘please verify you are human’.

it’s a real shame as so many are struggling with the card testing attacks and this could be a real viable solution but not while ever it breaks these payment options.

    Hi,

Currently the plugin is not fully compatible with “Express Checkout” payment options like PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay since the payment is handled externally on a different website.

The payment gateway would ideally be doing their own checks to block card spam but clearly that is not always the case.

I’m not sure what solution can be done for this on the plugins end, but I will take a look.

Thank you for your response, but why can’t your plugin be made to ignore turnstile verification when the checkout is done using Apple Pay?

the card testing doesn’t use Apple Pay, it’s highly likely to use the REST APi. Either way installing your plugin seems to prevent them but stops Apple Pay, can’t you just ignore Apple Pay (or express payments)?

this would at least not break sites?

These are the options I see, using Stripe Payments (which includes Express Payments).

    Hi,

The error should stop showing with the WooPayments and Stripe express payments now, in version 1.34.3.

Updated plugin and can confirm express payments are now working with turnstile enabled on checkout.

    Much appreciate your efforts!
