Apple Pay Validation Error

    After clicking “Add domain association file”, the file is created successfully and is accessible. However, Apple Pay fails on iPhone with:

    APPLE_PAY_MERCHANT_SESSION_VALIDATION_ERROR

    The issue was resolved by manually adding www. oursite .com in PayPal Apple Pay settings:
    https://www.paypal.com/uccservicing/apm/applepay

    It appears the plugin may only be validating the root domain and not the www version, which could be causing the error. We may be wrong, so it would be appreciated if you could comment on this error and confirm whether manually adding domains in the PayPal dashboard is the only solution.
