The first thing I would suggest is to update your WordPress version to the current 4.2.2 as Job Manager is optimized to work wit this current version and your running on a WP version that has a high potential of vulnerability that was fixed in 4.2.2
Also be sure to read over the information we provided for those upgrading from older versions, as this sounds like it may be a data base issue.
Thanks for the feedback. I have followed these steps and found this NOT to be the case. It’s still timing out. Any more suggestions before I curb the plugin? It’s been successful before now.
Curtis,
This is not necessarily indicative of a problem with Job Manager plugin.
Each install is as different as the server your hosted on and the variables of thousands of plugins and themes that are used on ones site. Add to that any customization that might also cause conflict.
From the small amount of information that you have posted, your problem could be caused by many other issues.
You could be experiencing a plugin and or theme conflict. If your site went some time with outdated plugins and WP core outdated and then you make an update w/o testing on something like a staging server, you have no idea what the other variables are that may be affecting and or causing your issues?
Especially, when yo make a comment
It’s been successful before now.
What changed with your system that caused a feature to just stop working ?
That’s a huge red flag that you my have something else causing the issue
What I can do is offer to take a quick look into your back-end to provide a
an assessment. Contact me via support AT wp-jobmanager for more details and to continue this dialog.
Curtis,
I am still interested in helping to look into this issue. We are also working on a Forms Pagination for the Application that will make it easier to use.
