• Hello there, I bought a premium Template & I’m using category IDs. For the ‘blog’ page to work like it’s supposed to (including ALL my posts ever), I need to apply a category to ALL my posts & find a way to have it always automatically apply from now on (if that’s possible). I guess…like a batch-post category apply function?

I’d appreciate if people not tell me otherwise. This template requires this be done. If anyone has a solution, I’d very much appreciate it. If it doesn’t, that’s fine too. But @ any rate, thanks guys! 🙂

P.S. Btw, I exported about 53 posts from my older blog

  • If you are using WP 2.8, you can select all of your post, then select edit and then assign them all the same category.

In the settings > writing just set the category that you want as the default one.

    Hi,

    Perform these steps:

    – Login into wordpress admin area
    – click on edit posts
    – Select the posts for which you want to add the category
    – click on edit from action at top of the page..it will allow to edit mass settings
    – add the category for the posts which you have selected
    – save the changes

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
