Apply to specific forms

    We have a lot of different CF7 forms on the site, and I don’t want all of them integrated with MailChimp. I changed the fields to ‘your-first name’, ‘your-last-name’ and ‘your-email’ on a form and tested it, and it’s coming through to MailChimp. Then I tested a form without changing the fields, so they stayed as ‘first-name’, ‘last-name’, and ‘your-email’, and it didn’t come through to MailChimp. Is this a good way to ensure that only the subscribers I want are coming through, and will it continue to work if I keep doing it like this? Is ‘your-email’ only picked up by MailChimp if accompanied by the full ‘your-first-name’ and ‘your-last-name’? Thanks!

    If you don’t want a form to be processed for MailChimp subscription then all you need to do is change the your-email field to something else – your other field names (your-name, etc) can remain the same or whatever you wish.
    Eg, you could change the email field to:
    your-email-addr

    If you DO want to process the form for MC subscription then the usual rules for the field names apply as outlined here:
