Appointments with different duration?

    Hello,

    What I’m trying to do is, i have 2 types of appointments with 4 different durations.

    Appointment 1, 4 hours (12pm-4pm OR 6pm-10pm)
    Appointment 1, 8 hours (8am-4pm)
    Appointment 1, 12 hours (8am-8pm)
    Appointment 1, 24 hours (8pm-8pm)

    Appointment 2, 4 hours (12pm-4pm OR 6pm-10pm)
    Appointment 2, 8 hours (8am-4pm)
    Appointment 2, 12 hours (8am-8pm)
    Appointment 2, 24 hours (8pm-8pm)

    I’d like to be able to book Appointment 1 and 2 on the same time slot but limit appointments of the same type to 1 at the same time.

    When “Give appointment types independent availability ” is OFF then Appointment 1 and 2 can’t be booked at the same time.

    When “Give appointment types independent availability” is ON then Appointment 1 and 2 can be booked at the same time BUT when booking “Appointment 1, 24 hours” i can still book “Appointment 1, 8 hours” in the same time frame. This shouldn’t be possible.

    Can i achieve this in the free version of the plugin or would this work in the premium version?

    Hello @fickwp

    It sounds like you would need to use our Team Booking feature included in the Business Edition. With the Team Booking feature, you could create two team members, team member 1 and team member 2. Then for each Appointment Type, you would assign the respective team member. For example, all durations for Appointment 1 are team member 1, and all durations for Appointment 2 are team member 2.

    This would allow appointment 1 & 2 of any duration to be booked at the same time but also prevent instances of two appointment 1’s with different durations from being booked at the same time.
