    Hello,

We have sport club and we want to allow that the coaches can (only) create posts with the result and a summary of the game.

I want to get them the role of an author/editor to create the posts (so limited actions for the user). I also want to check the posts before being published by an admin or another role.

Is there a possibility to setup such a scenario ?

    BR,
    Patrick

Sure, it’s possible. If you need something more advanced, there’s Oasis Workflow plugin:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/oasis-workflow/

A simpler process, you can remove author’s capability to publish_posts so they can’t publish them but instead need to submit it for review. So it’s saved as a draft until an admin reviews it and manually publishes it.

    Thanks @supporthero

@delcorny, you are essentially looking for a one-step workflow as shown on https://www.oasisworkflow.com/documentation/basic-concepts/commonly-used-workflows

Essentially, your first step in the workflow should be the “publish” step. This step will act as “review and publish”. Then from this step, you create a failure/red connection to “assignment” step. So, if the publisher/reviewer doesn’t like something he/she can reject/unable to complete and it will go to assignment step.

    See if this helps.

If you are looking for advanced/pro features (revision workflow, auto submit etc), please do not hesitate to submit a query via our support page – https://www.oasisworkflow.com/submit-a-query
