When users are set as Subscribers, they cannot see the Edit tab, but when they are Contributors, they are automatically publishing without review. I want edits from common users to go through an approval process, how should I set their Role, or is there something I can change in the Wiki plugin?

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Are you referring common users as subscribers or visitors( Non logged in users )?

Do you want to allow common users to edit wikis and admin should approve this edit before publishing?

For user role management you can try using any of the following plugins.
