approve entry without editing entry field data

Hi there, is it possible to “approve” entries (through Gravity Directory) client side without having to go into an entry and edit the entry?

I am looking for an “administrator” to check and approve the entry, however the “administrator” must not have access to edit the form\entry. is this possible?
