Approve User button is missing
-
Hello, I created a form for user registration and set it to manual approval, but the Approve User button is no longer visible in registration requests sent. Previously, there was a button to approve the user as in the screenshot. There is no button for new registrations now.

Hello @thecreator01
Hope you are doing well today.
I ran some tests in my lab site and created a simple registration form; the approval button is visible in the same location, under the submission tab.
Can you please make sure your Forminator plugin is up to date and try creating a new registration form to see how it works? This issue could be caused by a plugin conflict or some bad code in the form.

AminHello @thecreator01,
I hope you’re doing well.
We haven’t heard from you in a while. I’ll go and mark this thread as resolved. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Kind Regards,
Imran KhanHello,
When I select Network’s Main Store Role as “Administrator” on the user registration page of the form, the approve user button appears. However, when I select the “User Account Activation” option as default in this form, an admin user is created for the main site of the network. What I actually want is to create a user only for the subsite in the network. When I select the “Don’t create a user in the network’s main Store.” option, the button does not appear and the record is not created. Previously, this option only created an administrator for a subsite in the network.
Also, when I set the “Don’t create a user in the network’s main Store.” option and the “User Account Activation” option as “Default”, a user is created both on the main site and on the network.
Hello @thecreator01
I made a few checks but I could not see Forminator user registration form creating users on the Subsite when “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site” is selected.
Previously, this option only created an administrator for a subsite in the network.
Could you please let me know if you recall the past version that was installed on your website so that we can install it on our lab environment and test it.
With the current version, if you want to add user’s to the subsite, you can create or import the same form from the main site to the Subsite >> Forminator >> Forms and that will create users on that specific subsite.
Awaiting your response.
Kind Regards,
SaurabhHello, I don’t know which version it is, but right now, when the “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site” option is selected and the Activation Method option is selected as default and a user is created from the form, the user is created both in the network and in the main site of the network. Also, when I select the Activation Method manually, there is no approve user button in the record that appears in submissions.
Hello @thecreator01,
I hope things are going well for you.
I’ve replicated the issue and shared all my findings with the Forminator team. Soon, they’ll double-check which version the functionality was missing from and will inform you with more details.
By the way, so when you choose “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site,” you basically mean you don’t want the user to be created in the Network admin site, and those users should have the custom roles? We would like to know more about what you’re trying to achieve with this option.

Kind Regards,
Imran KhanHello, thank you for your response.
When the “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site” option is selected, no user should be created on the network’s main site. A user should only be created on the network admin page in the network’s administration panel. When a subsite is created for this user, the user should be able to manage the site after logging in. (Administrator user for the subsite.)
However, currently, when the “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site” option is enabled, a user with the “None” role is created on the network’s main site. A user is also created in the network’s administration panel.
Additionally, when I enable “Site Registration,” everything works fine. For example, no users are created on the main network site. A subsite is created in the network administration, and the user for that subsite is assigned as the administrator. However, “Site Registration” shouldn’t be enabled because we’re manually creating subsites.
However, there is no button to accept the user when “Don’t create a user in the network’s main site” is selected and manual approval is active.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ve passed this to our team for review and to check the expected behavior regarding this, so we can fix it in the next release as soon as possible.
