    Hi,
I get the following pop up every time a new page loads in admin:

“app.wizshield.com uses an invalid security certificate
The certificate expired on 9/14/2015 2:46 PM. The current time is __/__/2015 11:48 AM.

    (Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate”

It is soooo anoying. Upon researching, it appears app.wizshield.com has something to do with Amazon.com. I don’t have anything installed on my site that is Amazon related, plug-ins or otherwise.

How do I get it to stop?

    Thanks,
    Adam

  • Hello, Adam, & welcome to the WordPress support forum. Looks to me like Wizshield is some sort of licensing company for plugins & themes. So if you purchased a plugin or theme, especially 1 for which you had to enter a license key, then that’s probably why you’re receiving that message. I’m not 100% certain of that, (maybe 90%), but this is what it looks like to me.

Yes, I figured out that it is exactly that. Somehow it magically fixed itself. I don’t get that. But thanks!

Well, me, either, Adam, but would you be so kind as to mark the topic as ‘resolved’ so we know you’re good & we can close it? I have a friend who often says that insanity is doing the same things over & over again & expecting different results–except that it doesn’t apply to computers. I think she’s right. They can do weird stuff, & contrary to what most IT pros say, it’s really not always that it was given the wrong command–at least not by the end user.

    Have a great weekend.
