Unfortunately this is currently not possible… 🙁
To support Arabic, there are 2 requirements: 1) the font used should support arabic characters and 2) the document should be in RTL.
While 1) can be fixed by using a custom font, 2) is not possible with the PDF library that I use for the plugin. As soon as the PDF library adds support for RTL, I will update the plugin, but until then I cannot help you with this. I wish I had better news!

Yes, using an arabic font without RTL is possible.
