Everything was working, and then what seems to be at once, the arrows stopped working. Inspecting them shows a class being added, .flex-disabled, on flex-prev and flex-next. I’ve gone over the settings numerous times, created a brand new slideshow, embedded on other pages, everything it seems short of uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin.

  • Hi,

Can you share a URL to the site? Typically it breaks from caching or another plugin causing a conflict. You might find errors in the browser console.

Currently I cannot share the url, but there’s no caching and no console errors. The arrows were working locally, got it on the staging server and it was working, and then a few minutes later noticed the arrows stopped working. Poof!

    Hi @jjohns,

There’s not much I can do without seeing it. Does it work in the preview area on the settings page?

There could be another plugin causing an error behind the scenes. Can you disable other plugins, leaving only metaSlider enabled and check?

Seems to also not work in preview. Tried disabling all plugins, still did not work. So I went ahead and put it on prod, setup a private page for you, and now it’s working!

    Hi @jjohns

That’s strange. Maybe an error happening on your local server. You might be able to find more information in the PHP error logs, or on the browser developer tools while viewing the preview area.

I’ll mark this as resolved since it’s working on the live site but feel free to follow up if you have any more questions.
