    Hi

    I wonder if with this plugin I could create a section where ALL user can post a question and ONLY specific people could then answer

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    yes you can

    dashboard>settings>bbp private groups>topic permissions>enable

    Then set your general users up to belong to a group (say group x)

    then set up your forum where people can ask a question

    in this forum set topic permissions for group x to be able to ‘create/edit topics’

    this will let you participants ask questions in this forum, but not reply.

    then set your experts up in another group (say group y)

    set group y up to be able to either reply to topics, or just to be able to create topics and replies.

    group x can then ask, but group y can answer

    I only have a doubt. In the bbpress private group, within the tab “Assign groups to role” I gave to group 1 the subscriber role. Did I make a mistake? if so how can I change it?

    that would depend on how you are set up 🙂

    if group 1 is the users, then that is fine.
