Askimet spam filter issue

    I’m currently experiencing an issue with the Askimet spam filter shortcode. Whenever I use [email* your-email akismet:author_email], I will get the following error:

    There was an error. Please try again later.

    If this helps, I’m getting an orange border when I get this error message. What’s even more weird is the fact that I’ll get this error on and off for the same email address I use. Hopefully someone can help out!
