Hello there @longman2020,
hope you’re doing good today and excuse our late response here! 🙂
Could you please elaborate a bit more on this?
Do you need to change aspect ratio of all full-size images for example?
Please advise!
Warm regards,
Dimitris
Hi @wpmudev-support6
I need a way to disable aspect ratio for image resizing.
for example when I set a picture size to 520×245, it changes it to 413×245. because the plugin doesn’t want to change aspect ratio.

Hello @longman2020
Hope all is well!
The Smush plugin resizes only the original images, based on the “Resize my full size images” settings. Screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/KbaaDLyC5OvgMxhzwCoPBFgvJaPyqY
The largest thumbnail size set from Settings > Media is the suggested maximin size.
And the images only scaled down to the max width or max height value, without changing the aspect ratio.
for example when I set a picture size to 520×245, it changes it to 413×245. because the plugin doesn’t want to change aspect ratio.
Please let us know more details. Setting the max width or max height as shown in the above screenshot is can’t be saved as 520×245px?
The rest of the thumbnails are created based on the WordPress setting on your site.
Please clarify, is the aspect ratio changed when adding an image to a pots/page?
Please advise,
Kind regards,
Nastia
